Default ARC Oil Cooler install problem

Hi Guys,
I tried to install the ARC Oil Cooler this weekend. I picked it up second hand from Cesar Torres but he had never installed it.
I ran into a problem installing the oil filter relocater in the attached pic. The assembly is there but the threaded part in the yellow circle is missing. Is that something I am suppose to get from somewhere else or is it a piece that should have been included that I was shorted. If so does anyone have any idea where I can get it? Is it something I will have to order from ARC?

Hi,
The answer to your question is yes. The threaded part is suppose to come with the kit. I would contact the seller and ask him where it is at. Good luck ordering it from ARC if you do. I do not know what their policy is or even if they sell it separate.

dang thats what I was afraid of. Cesar Torres doesn't seem to be active on this site anymore since he sold his Z. I've tried what contact info I had for him but it isn't looking good.
Maybe one of the vendors here can help me out.

That's fugged up it was missing. I'd either contact that K@kawyne(sp?) vendor or Andy @ Performance Nissan about the part. They deal with ARC and Makin alot....

On second thought, you might be able to buy that center part from another manufacturer. Just make sure it's threaded the same...

nice I was waiting for the weekend to measure and make sure it is a 20x1.5 but since everyone agrees I'm gonna go ahead and order it. Can't wait to get my oil cooler hooked up.

so its definitely been a while since I posted this thread but I just wanted to update everyone that I finally got the oil cooler hooked up and working great. I ordered from racepartswholesale and glowshift but neither were what I needed. I was about to have a machine shop custom make the part I needed for $200+ (for a stupid fitting) when my friend found almost the exact part we needed from a local store called HydroAir Hawaii that makes mostly plumbing parts for $4. Installed it about a month ago and its worked great ever since. Believe me though I kept a very close eye on my Oil Preasure for the first few weeks driving it, especially the first time on the freeway. Seems like everything eventually worked out great. Thanks everyone for all you're help!
