Fluctuating Idle with tendency to stall???(video)
Ok, here the history on my car... I bought car in November from a private seller... car is in great shape..it's 03 with 73k miles...I still have factory warranty from nissan. till dec 08
I was hit on the rear left bumper hence my car spend couple weeks in the body shop for the dent + paint.. after I took the delivery of the car, I noticed that my idle is vibrating...It constantly fluctuating whenever I stopped at a stop/red light....It didn't do it before... I have included a video where you can see how it fluctuates and at around :40 seconds(remaining sec as shown on vid) you can see it almost takes a dive to 500/200 RPM and car is close to stalling itself....Whenever I rev to drive away in first gear, I can feel it... on higher gears is hard to feel because car is accelerating at higher speed... I can feel the vibrations very distinctively during idling......Why this is happening??? Any idea what could be causing this???
I have just read a thread where OP had vibrating Idle with fan starting and he was told to unplug the battery overnight and then 10 sec on off procedure..... should I try that???
Your opinion/idea is highly appreciated..
