Default 5AT guys!!!!Anyone try one of these transgo shift kits yet?????

I just ordered a transgo shift kit that gtmotorsports.com sells and I was wondering if this is the same thing that they do when you send yours into them and charge you out the *** to do it or what?any help would be great,thanks.

It is basically the same thing you get when you send in your v/b.It is def worth every penny.

Any transmission shop could do this then? If so, much better than dishing out some $900...

Except if there's a problem, you'll have your local shop shrugging their shoulders. If it's a transmission shop you trust, then go for it.

cool thanks guys i work at a shop here in Missouri and one of our guys used to fix transmissions for about year at a dealership so he is doing the install. we got it for right at 210 shipped!!!should be seeing it sometime this week. only bad news is its gonna be another 120 bucks worth of tranny fluid!lol

Socalted has one on his G sedan. I think he has a thread about it.

Transgo shift kits is what GTM uses in their VBs?

If so I may need to upgrade since my Stillen VB shifts too slow. I'm only 1hr away from their shop.

$210 is better than $900+ post up a review or make a before and after vid if you can.

sry guys no way of makin a video but i will take alot of pics in detail.....I just found out if i can get ten orders together i could probably sell them for about 200 a pop. plus shipping if you all are interested pm me and let me know.

sup guy, I have a transmission shop and have the kit ready to be installed on my car, but I've been so busy and my car has been in the body shop for some time now that I havent had a chance to install it yet. I'll post vids up of it when I eventually get to it, then I'll offer to do it for others.

chapparo .....ur a *** and i'm assuming your ignorance is just that fact that all you've ever driven is 13 second cars ........look around buddy anything under the 10s in the 1/4 is a good ole slushbox aka automatic......lets not turn this into a 6spd vs 5at again its just getting old. go talk about ur clutch u just burned up in another forum ok?thanks
