Default Bunch of noises

Alrighty then. The grinding of my back brakes is still there getting fixxed soon, don't fret. But today driving to work I got a new noise. It sounds like it is coming from the transmission and it only happens in 5th and 6th. It almost sounds the same as a belt sliping. It's intermitent sometimes loud sometimes bearly noticable. It's a slipping noise half the time and a faint meshing of gears the other. The times when it's the meshing gears sound I ignore becuase gears are meshing, what I don't ignore is how I never heard it before. Any idea what might have changed?

On my lunch break I'm going to go out and check the fluid level in the transmission and see if I'm low or something and that is causing it.

Any help would be great

Yup...I have a clunk almost every time I shift. It's more annoying than anything. Hopefully it doesn't turn into a mini explosion inside :-(

No they don't.

Went to Infiniti the other day and got all the brakes fixxed and they couldn't find anything wrong with the tranny and opn the test drive I couldn't reproduce it So they fiddled with some things and it's been fine ever since. Maybe it was just one of those one time things oh how the temp and atmosphereic preasure was right and all the planets aligned and cause a weird noise in it. No idea but it seems fine now. Now the only thing I notice is on a hill sometime my e-brake doesn't grab all the way. Just got to adj. it

^^Z e brakes suck, thats normal haha. I have to pull mine up pretty good to keep it from rolling out of the driveway (if I need to get out when the car is running, say cause my gf left her bike in front of the garage door).
