I thinks thats normal man but you might want to check around. My clutch and my buddys clutch does the same thing. Either that or all of our clutches are F#cked Up!

i had the same question, too. i posted the problem a couple of weeks ago on the maintenance/repair thread, check it out. i feel ya, i was always worried as if something was gonna come loose or break. at a stop sign i would be paranoid to let the clutch go. i just didnt wanna hear the ratling noise everytime i was in neutral, so i would press down on the clutch everytime. i did bring it into nissan and the mechanic said it was normal. anyway, its just something your gonna have to live with. a couple of guys already replied to my thread indicating its either normal or it just happens. havent heard any problems following the noise. made me more relax bout the situation after hearing these stories.

I had the same problem. I went to my nearest Nissan Dealership and they told me it's normal. Then I went to RX motorsports and they told me I needed to replace my clutch assembly. I did and I never heard the clicking noise nor the sticking sensation.

That pin is to the master cylindar and is for adjusting the throw level of the clutch pedal. Thats not where the noise is coming from.

i also talked to a mechanic and he said one of my switches are bad because i have cruise control the clutch has two switches but im not completely convinced that is the problem. its not even a rattling sound its just a loud click noise like something is snapping everytime i let off the clutch.

Axle clicks. They will be fixed for free if thats what the problem is. Someone posted a work order saying they basically have to fix it for free. Don't recall where i saw it just search "axle clicks".

Good luck !
