Got the car dyno'd
I'm sure you've all seen dyno graphs, but here's mine. This was done at XXTuning in Wethersfield, CT on a Dynapack Chassis dyno. It involved removing both rear wheels and clamping the dyno assembly directly onto the rear axle. My car was done immediately after Gerald's (350Zzzz). His car is bone stock with 3000 miles. Mine has a K&N drop in, a grounding kit, and about 13,000 miles. Our two graphs are essentially identical. The hp difference was about 2, which I consider to be within the margin of error of any given dyno.

Ok, I took you dyno pic and I played with in in photoshop elements. I tweaked the brightness down, bumped up the contrast and I used dodgeing and burning to make the numbers on the side's stand out as much as possible. I must say, the closeness of the numbers on the side's of the graph, make the curves look very different than any other dyno I've ever seen posted. At first I was like, what's wrong with these curves, then I figured it out.
BTW, a easy way to get a high quality scan is to take it to walmart and use their aladine system and ask them to save the image to cd ROM, bam super quality when you have to have it.

Check out my dyno map and feel free to comment. It is a pity that you're not in the area, as I would invite you to perform a dyno run on the DynoPack at XXTuning. Do you know if there are DynoPack systems in your area, and as I mentioned, I might even do a dyno run on the conventional roller systems.
Thanks

EDIT: I've noticed from other Zee dyno results that the higher the RPM the wider the variance between the wheel power and torque readings.

Have you guys had any work done to your cars at XXTuning? If so what did you think? Do they know their stuff? I was thinking of having some work done there
Thanks in advance

I did not have any direct experience with XXTuning until the Dyno sessions, however, I am aware that they have installed a Borla true dual cut-back exhaust system on another zee. The word is that the zee with the Borla is expected to have its post mod. dyno this coming Saturday, 09/13/2003; which also happens to be a Zee Dyno day at XXTuning.
I am curious myself to see the dyno mapping with the Borla mod. Why don’t we meet up this weekend, as I am presently in the process of familiarizing myself with Craig and Danny at XXTuning.
This Thursday I am having zee glass tinted and other electronic devices fitted; including an SUV. By the end of the day I should have a better impression of the level of skill for the work on the zees.
My first impressions are, that the proprietors of XXTuning, seems most enthusiastic and willing to work with its customers; and Craig who also has a zee, is most eager to set up a zee specialist component at the shop. The shop appears to be sufficiently neat and well kept. From my initial contact, I find that XXTuning is aggressively competitive in their product/mod pricing.
It , would help if other Zee owners would assist in feeling out the potentiality of XXTuning as a zee shop in Central Connecticut.
Hope to see some of you at XXTuning Saturday. After my Pro Charger mod, next on my list would be wheels, tires, brakes, exhaust, Nismo body kit; hopefully a comparable tweaked EMU or even a piggy back programmable control unit.
What are some of your plans for mods?
Best
