Default Powerlab Spacer Install Idle Problem

Ok so i just installed the Spacer and when i turned the car on the rpms shot up to about 4k then dropped below 1k and then stalled. I checked maf and its fine, didtn hear any leaks. I reset the ecu, checked all the hoses and theyre in the right place and secure. I can turn the car on and rev it but then when i stop revving it stalls.

any ideas?? thanks!!

I checked all the hoses and everything is where it needs to be and properly secured. I also removed my intake and checked the tube, maf, and throttle body and everything is fine. I gave up for now cuz it dark and cold and raining. I disconected the battery and am going to leave it overnight.

when i was moving the car out of the garage i had to turn it on so i could drive up the driveway again, and when i was doing it i really had to give gas so it wouldnt stall out. It doesnt seem like a fuel problem because i can go as long as it i really give it gas.

edit: i was going to do a diy on the install too lol. good thing i didnt otherwise it would have sucked

If you have an air leak between the spacer / plenum that could cause it to stall out but shouldn't cause it to rev that high at start up.

^^^ it’s a common mistake when installing spacer... it’s the very first thing to check when you have problems...

It’s always best to remove the collar until everything is buttoned up and running smooth. (Should be a part of install instruction Justas a precaution).

yep 3/8 spacer. I can definitely notice a difference with the spacer. It sounds louder now and past 4k you can really feel it working. I'm not expecting too much hp wise yet until the ecu adjusts. i tried to reset the ecu again today but it didnt seem to work
