You've got some awesome mods but they won't matter in this particular case. The computer will not allow the car to go any faster than 159. You will just get there ALOT faster than anyone else. SOME upgraded ECU's do away with the limiter I believe.
LOL, this trend has been done before, and people got flamed. Anyway, alone in the middle of the night on the interstate, I did 160 on the analog speedometer.
Once on the 99FWY south from Delano to the 5 south
Last time was just before the Nevada state line, you know, when the 15FWY north comes down the mountain.
LOL. Same area I had it at 130 the other day. Acording to my CHP friend, that area is not patrolled. It's the crossover between Grapevine & Bakersfield CHP. Car was still pulling at 130 BTW with plenty of headroom to go. I simply lifted.
I don't know, I just kept it on the floor until it stopped pulling. I have noticed that many people say 156 but it is probably a matter of not having enough good straight road.
Also, I've been told that the accuracy of the Speedo is way off after 140 or so on most vehicles. I'm gonna find out for sure pretty soon because I have a friend who is a cop that wants to clock it with radar.
I've gone 148 a couple of times (bone stock) I usually drive around 120-130 dependant on the time, cops, traffic and etc. I haven't driven my car with mods because it's still at shop (broken axel). I haven't even installed my mods yet (when I get my car back I be doing lots of work )
