Default Official Short Shifter Review/Poll/Rant Thread

Ok guys (and of course girls). Love them or hate them let us know which short shifter you have, or have had and what you thought about it. Would you buy it again, and would you recommend it to someone else.

I will be purchasing a short shifter in the next week or so and will post a detailed review of install and my thoughts after testing it.

I got the B&M street version, love it. Never going back. Dropped that bowling ball of a *** for a leather nismo nubby and now it's almost as good as my stock S2K shifter was HA!

I hear a lot of ppl having problems shifting into gear after installing these, I think it has more to do with the install than the product. That's my .02.

One of our user in the german 350z forum designed a short shifter that is workin awesome. 40% less way and with the vibration damper there´s no longer that heavy vibration in the shift ****.
i think it´s one of the few 2part shifter. I think most of the shifter are just one part and thats what makes the heavy vibrations

I feel the throws in the gearbox are short enough as it is.

I read somewhere that the nismo is a great short shifter but its designed for right hand drive so its shaped a little different. Dont quote me on that though

I have a B&M. Easy to install. Had to file a little, but that's no biggie. Goes into each gear just fine too. Works great and feels great.
