Default *Clutch and Flywheel Combo Good For NA and FI*

Well I have about 60k miles on my Z and my clutch is just about gone, so i'm in need of a new aftermarket clutch and flywheel.

Currently i'm NA with bolt-ons, but am planning on going FI within the next 5-10k miles, so I really don't want to have to change my clutch twice before it's even burned out. I was considering the JWT Clutch & Flywheel Combo, but didn't want to waste the money on labor having to change it out again so soon...

So my question for all you guys is, what would be a decent clutch and flywheel set-up that is daily drivable for NA, but won't be too harsh for the time being before I go FI (around 400whp)?

If you need more info just let me know.

All help is appreciated!

Thanks

JWT set-up should hold 400wtq without too much issue......it is just once you go beyond that where it will fail to hold the power.

What year is your car?

Oh, really? I really won't have more than 400wtq anyways, but if I do happen to end up wanting more power, i'm sure there's a lot more i'd need to upgrade as well, thus having enough money to probably toss in a better clutch.

It's a 2005

Thanks for the help!

Any idea if the JWT combo will hold about the same amount of power?
It's between ACT and JWT at this point for me...

I don't think i'm ready for the OS Giken clutch, but maybe i'll check it out once i'm FI...

RPS Clutch/flywheel. Had it for over 30K miles. Plenty of beating at strip an street. Thats with a 125 shot of barry bonds 2. DJ Smitty is the 1 that convinced me to buy it since he runs it on his 550HP TT Z

I'm about 90% set on the JWT combo and RPS (I've been told it holds more power..) at this point, I've read so many great reviews on it, it seems best suited for me (since the Z is my dd). Also, I won't be running more that ~400whp once I go FI, so it should all work out well. Thanks everyone for your comments and recommendations!!

Are you going Vortech? I'm at 322WHP with an HKS S/C and have a Nismo clutch but it's pricey and looooud! Also in south OC...

Okay, that's good to hear
And regarding the Stage 4 Comp. Clutch/Flywheel, it's funny you mention that, because I had a long talk with a guy not too long ago who recommended the same set up. He has a fully built 10 second Evo IX that he ran it on before upgrading. I'll have to look into it!

I'll either be going the Vortech route, or the Powerlab Single route
Definitely no Nismo clutch for me!!
