Easy, don't drive it when it is snowy or at all icy. If you have summer tires on the car, then don't drive it at all when temps are south of 40 degrees. Drive your other car or become very familiar with public transportation.
Buy a set of winter tires. Your car will do fine as long as the snow doesn't exceed 4". Once the snow plows go through, the snow tires will get you anywhere if you are careful and know how to drive.
also, skinny tires rock in the snow. maybe get a set of 7 inch wide steelies or cheap aluminum rims for the winter.
ah, and bridges freeze before roads, and so do dark/shady spots. if you didnt notice in a FWD car doesnt mean you wont notice in a RWD one...
driving in 2 inches of snow is easy. i happen to think its more fun than driving when its bare pavement. Now ice... that stuffs not so fun.

I agree with most people in the thread. You do NOT need to store your car for the winter. Get good snow tires or all seasons, and you will be just fine. Don't listen to people telling you to buy a beater...

I purchased My Base Z 2 going on 3 winters ago and all i can say is that i used my girls car an got a beater shortly after.... Base Z's suck donkey D%^$# in the snow bottom line...
yea, i can definately imagine someone getting their Z stuck, even if the're a good driver. snow just gets too deep sometimes.
ive never gotten a car stuck, and i grew up near buffalo, although 95% of the time i was in an fwd car.
as for not crashing, that all depends on how good your reactions are. even if your car spins out, it doesnt mean youre going to go off the road, but thats up to you. exactly the same rules of car control apply as bare asphalt though. IMO snow is just an easy way to learn them in slow motion.
if the above sentence sounds sketchy to you, maybe you should get a beater. a 1990s subaru station wagon would be stupidly fun in the snow.

But, did you have winter tires? The summer tires simply do not work in the snow or in cold weather. Any Z will do just fine as long as you have winter tires. I keep hearing comments about rear wheel drive being bad in the snow. Back in the day, all we had were rear wheel drive cars and we always put snow tires on them. And we didn't have radials, only cross ply tires. The day of "all season tires" started with front wheel drive cars and they didn't do too bad in the snow. However, you still need true winter tires for your car to perform well in the snow.
thxs for the info guys... yea i dont have the money to get a beater.. the Z is my only car.. i am currenly saving up for lsd and a set of gears but wont have it install prolly till the end of the winter... My plan is it buy a set of bridgestone Blizzaks
RI doesnt get that much snow.. only a few bad snow storms.. its mostly a mix of rain and snow.

Dont go blizzaks, I had to drive mine last winter ( bought a 900 dollar truck this winter, less then a new set of tires conveniently) but i used 4x Toyo garit II's and i had no issues... and i live Calgary alberta. We had snow go over 4' ice hills etc. I had less issues then 4x4 SUV's. As long as you are carefull and not gunning it you will do fine. tires cost me 1600 btw. Get a cheap truck.
