Default Anyone running 4.11 gears?

Researching LSD's and finding out that most people here switch to a final drive of 3.9 or 4.083... Anyone have 4.11 installed? If so, how's it working out for you?

Not 4.11's, but I don't think there is even a nissan "friendly" 4.11 gear set available.

OP, why 4.11's......its a subtle.....very subtle change from the 4.08's, which are reasonable priced and easily accessible.

why even go to the trouble and cost to go from 4.08 to 4.11 it would be a complete waste
of time and $

I figured since he was a n00b and all that he meant 4.08s and could read up on all the banter about gearing in that thread.

I'll make it a point to ignore the OP, n00b etc. etc. comments and redirect the attention to the actual question. Which is, is anyone running 4.11's? Not 4.08, not 3.9's, we're talking about practice man... practice.. eerr aah I meant we're talking about 4.11's here guys. A little background; I placed a call to Speed Alliance in San Diego they said that ATS makes a silent diff and ATS suggests to pair it with 4.11's. Hence, the arrival of my question.

Just get 4.08's....I can understand wanting to use ATS guidelines, but the difference is nominal and you will pay out the *** to have a custom gear set made or machine the stock diff to work some other set of 4.11's too fit.

Never heard of 4.11's in a Z. Which goes to show maybe they don't know wtf their talking about. Unless he was thinking of 4.08's and mixed it up with another car.

Sounds like (so far) no one runs with 4.11's. Thanks 0Jig and 03threefifty for the feedback. Looks like I'll lean towards the Nismo Diff (If I can find one) and the 4.083's..Final Answer...

ATS deals with a number of platforms.....my guess is they were just giving you a general ratio that would work well. I used their LSD in my honda about 92304i832094823 years ago with the stock 4.10 gear set. Just get the 4.08's.......

No, a Domestic would run 3.90, 4.10 or a 4.30 if your feeling real gutsy.

4.11 is a Subaru/Skyline thing IIRC.

Now that's worth the price of admission. Thanks for giving that piece of info. Really quick, how often with the nismo diff do you change fluid?
