Yes anything is possible.........I might have this wrong but... part of 6th gear is actually part of the main shaft in the tranny... so that would very costly and time consuming.
But anything is possible.

But you guys did change 6th gear, so why can't it be readjusted?? Guess that would be kinda custom, though, but it would definitely be worth it to anyone who actually drives on the street(interstate).

Well, you have adjusted ratios. That is what I mean. Can 6th gear be adjusted(changed, whatever) like you did with the rest of the gears(1st-5th) to make it the same or taller than the orginial 6th gear?? That is, can you do it.

Yes we adjusted the ratios with the new final drive....but all the gears are the same in the transmission.
I thin for what you are looking for you would need this new final drive set up and a taller 6th gear.

OK, how and where could I get that?? That would make me interested in this final drive, if I could get the same or preferably taller 6th gear than stock.

WOW ive been waiting for something like this to come along. looks great i cant wait to see some numbers off these. Maybe a 12 sec na z ? Oh well im just dreaming here. Heres a suggestion since it takes the ts ecu reflash to really get the most out of these gears why dont you offer a package deal like a ts ecu reflash with the gears and say a ported throttle body thrown in? Im in so long as the price is not too steep and a package will definitely help out.

Great news. We should start seeing some more low 13-sec N/A Z's now

I already have a mid-low 13 sec N/A Z. My plenum's on the way and the TS ECU will be soon after. Tranny's grinding, so a light weight flywheel will be going in with the new one. Add this final drive to the mix and I'm thinking mid-low 12's . Needless to say I'm interested it the price is reasonable.

wow who needs a turbo to get into the 12's now? Im guessing with a few good bolt-ons and flywheel/pully mods your car should do high 4's 0-60 at least.

Will there be any options for us 5AT owners? I would be interested if the max speed for 5th gear stayed close to where it is now for gas mileage purposes.

Other than reduced gas mileage, what are the possible side effects / downsides to this? Long term included.

How much should we expect for installation?

Can someone explain the pros and cons of this final drive adjustment?

If it means quicker acceleration, wouldnt it mean quicker shifts? I already hate how quickly I go through first gear.

Would this make our first gear even shorter??
