V8 350Z. my 500+rwhp goal
have you thought about adding spacers to the brace and using longer bolts??
^yup left them on the bracket, drilled the 2 end holes slightly larger and also drilled through the frame, mounted them, extended the wires through the fenderwells and voila, there they go! im gonna do my engine bay in a flat black so the engine really stands out, and fab up a cover to hide the coil packs completely
My wiring harness = no tape and lots of RAYCHEM DR25

also included is a version with out raychem and loomed in nylon sleeving

Plug and play!
i like the idea of relocating the coils but there are alot better places to locate them at like the back of the heads you dont run into any clearance problems and they are out of the way of natures elements.
My harness is done the same way, labeled and everything just like yours. Mine even has detachable sub harnesses for the accessory packages and trans too
Vas... is it running yet?

^logan, turbos in the back, no clearance issues! the coilpacks themselves use weathproof connectors, and my car still has the oem fenderwells and undershroud. plus, who drives these things in the rain lol

^^^^ hell no! =( the harness is taking longer than thought. I think with sikkys failure + wait and plus what im waiting now.. its been like almost 4 months of downtime just bc of harness. =/ . I'm not gonna even stress it. I just hope it ships soon
Vass i told you!!!! Sikky is slow as ****!!! They have been trying to get us to make their harnesses thats one reason, but they are slow to respond about anything we send them. If you can cancel your order with them i can have you a harness built to your specs in 1-2 weeks.
Dimitri i drive mine in the rain all the time its one of my Daily Drivers! So you are doing like a sts mount?
Cass007 - did you use a dakota digital converter for the stock tach? I know you mentioned someone helped you out with the wiring are they on the forum by any chance.

My understanding is that the Dakota Digital box wil NOT work correctly on our cars. I had my tuner Franz @ Diebold Autosport do both the harness and integrate all the wiring for the dash and the AC. He even has it set up so that my stock idiot lights on the dash will work.
Yes but only so we can reuse the 3 chassis plugs that are located right next to the battery and fuse box.
Other than the 3 chassis plugs that we reuse from the Z/G harness everything is completely brand new. Those 3 plugs even get new terminals. So you are getting all new wire, terminals plugs, wire and loom. No solder or electrical tape is used with our harnesses. Only adhesive heat shrink, nylon braided wire loom and or rachem dr-25 nothing cheap or half assed. My wiring harness took less than 2 weeks to complete.

And in your case since you are doing a drift car we would not even require a core harness. We would set everything up with individual relays fuses and switches, this is what we call our "race option"

... guess I was wrong.
