they're all useless anyway. we need a truly programmable unit. all of those are going to be functionally equivalent to the TechnoSquare ECU. Having TS is good enough if all you want to do is flash your AF and timing maps and don't care about user tuning. Most of those JDM units are just Nissan ECUs flashed with a different map, as far as I can tell.

 

if you want a true programable unit go with a HKS F CON PRO V GOLD. Only select HKS pro dealers have access to sell and program this unit.

 

the HKS unit has a few caveats -

1. Completely custom solution.. may or may not interface to stock sensors, definitely requires a custom harness

2. Drive-by-wire throttle

 

also the vishnu xede.....under development

 

because those were JDM ones were created in Japan using JDM spec Z's.

 

and jsut about noone in teh US knows anything about the HKS......it is not a common product here, and is not user tunable either (you cannot get the software)

 

i do know a shop in Ca and a shop in Ny that does tuning on the FCON PRO V

 

when can we expect a us spec nismo ecu?

 

no shop in NY tunes the F Con that I can tell you.......

there used to be guys in NJ (Bullish) but they are no longer opened to the public from what I understand, as they are full time with racing those 2 awesome Solara's

 

i thought paisley offered tuning on this unit?
