Cool Your 2004 Mods

I am curious and most interested to hear, and, or see all your planned mods for 2004. Please post your mods with your rational, if possible

Some of my scheduled mods:
  • More efficient Fuel Pump (optimize on FI)
  • Fuel Regulator Pump (optimize on FI)
  • Larger Injectors (optimize on FI)
  • J & S UltraSafeguard (engine protection)
  • FJO wideband 02 sensor (monitoring & Tuning A/F ratio; optimize on FI)
  • Silicon hoses for engine cooling & intercooler (engine protection, increase efficiency & ecstatics)
  • Nismo headers (if I don’t break the bank for the above & other committed upgrades)

Thanks
G

1. Many track days

2. custom engine data logger with backlit LCD display and monitoring of wideband O2, boost, EGT, etc

3. window tint

4. custom engine oil cooler kit with a Moroso oil cooler and Earl's fittings/lines

5. track model calipers and ??? rotors (either stock brembo/track or aftermarket cad-plated, maybe?), plus stainless steel brakelines

6. VQ35DE longblock out of a wrecked maxima/altima/Z/G35/FX35/etc at a junkyard, do some hand porting on the heads, save the shortblock for a build in '05 or '06

7. possibly a beater? S13 240sx or something along those lines

8. Another set of Potenza S-03s

Might not get around to all of these things, but that's what's basically in my head at the moment. No power adding mods.. all safety equipment, etc.

Default 2004 Mods

1. Enkei 19" forged wheels, five split spoke design, on order. (19.5 pounds versus stock 24.5 lbs)
2. New tires for wheels (245/35 front and 275/35 rear) Possibly SO-3's, but the heavy weight has me thinking about sticking with the Pilot sports, which are almost four pounds per tire lighter
3. Nismo LSD.
4. Get the darn gauge mounting figured out so I can put them in. They are sitting around in boxes doing no good.
5. Tint the windows with Huper Optik
