awesome progress Cass. WHere is the cost list?
Roughly $12K for the swap, most of that offset by the sale of my TT and VQ parts. The slave cylinder repair will be another $500-800... of course.

I'm gonna help you out on a few other things you need to do since I've been through every possible thing. Wrap the starter with heat wrap. Buy a dual pass LSX rad and use your stock fans on the front. Wrap clutch line with heat shield as well. Run GM computer to relay to power the fuel pump. Do not let the G35 power it! Do the drill MOD. MUST. There are a few others. Good luck. You r more than welcome to ask any questions. 225-305-7015 text first cause I wont answer.

I learned a valueable and expensive lesson yesterday... DO NOT PUT TEFLON TAPE ON -AN FITTINGS
JE called and said they found the fail on the slave cylinder, teflon tape on the -AN fittings caused a leak... 4 hours of shop labor to learn that lesson I have gone back through the thread and posted warnings in the assembly posts to not follow the pictures so others don't make this same mistake.
While the car is there, I will be having custom bent stainless pipes made for the cooling system and the mid pipes for the exhaust fabricated so I will be able to connect the SIKKY headers to the APS 3" exhaust without damaging the APS stuff. Neither of these things was cheap.
I will see if Anthony at JE can email me some pics of whats being done and then its off for wiring.

well at least you know this used motor wont blow on start up!
hopefully they didnt charge you 4 hours labor for finding the leak issue. I guess you never had to build any of your own AN lines? Any of the how-tos always say never use any kind of sealant.
We'll you know now
