Dyno is a heartbreaker
So I went on the rollers today. Mods consist of X02 catback, Ichiba TP's, MD 5/16 ,Nismo CAI and heavy *** XXR 521 20's. Done at Element Racing in Ogden, Utah at 4800 Ft and 85 degrees. I was hoping for more but oh well.
Someone on here once told me that a dyno gives you nothing but a number. A number in itself means nothing. How it makes you feel is what is important. There are a ton of variables here. Elevation, temp, humidity, there is so much to factor in. Maybe the combination of parts isn't working well.
But, like you mentioned, those 20's ain't helping you out.
I lost alot of TQ and gained very little (if any at all) WHP with exhaust mods when I was NA.
The mod that gave me the most power NA was MD 5/16th spacer with the MREV+ after that it was mostly downhill.
I rather have TQ than WHP any day on a NA setup.

I have a Vortech on the way right now, this was pretty much just a baseline run to see where I am at with my NA mods. Should have listened to everyone else from the start and just went with FI.
Did you dyno it before you started bolting things on, or is this your first time? If so, what did it do stock?
What do you expect to get out of the Vortech? You doing any supporting mods, or just throwing it on the stock motor with a bit better fuel delivery?
