Arrow 350z 03 swap vq37 ???

Hi everyone
first i m french canadien my enghlis suck i know lol but i need good info
i blow my vq35de whit turbonetics kit and now im looking for swaping a vq37 from a crash 370z i can have harness ecu tranny and motors but i look around to find what i have to do to do that swap
i can t find anything important i juste find it s suppose to be a headache for the harness swap and i need to change the hood
but i find nothing about shaft , engine mount and shifter

so my question is does someone did the swap what i have to worry about or think before i start
should i do that swap or juste find a vq35de and forged whit low comp piston and keep my turbonetics kit
i got a 03 tranny working good right now but i m worry about this because it will be a drift car and i know the 03 tranny are not that good

thanks

No one has done it before, so be the first and tell us how it goes.

What a crazy country I live in. This guy mis-spelled the word "English" while 100's of thousands of his fellow Quebecers are fluently bilingual!
It's not that he's dumb, either. There's just giant pockets of Quebec that don't understand a freaking syllable of English, despite the fact that they are essentially surrounded by it.
Anyway I don't think that this engine swap is common at all so there must be some reason. If you figure it out, please let us know. I'd rather see someone make an all wheel drive Z.
Bon chance!

English is the language of today. I congratulate you on learning it on your own.

Regardless of if his French was correct he wished you good luck and you were a douche. (that is French no???)

I suggest you adjust the attitude or go to a French Z board for your requests for help.

Whoa, whoa!!
I don't think he was being a douche, (well played, btw), he's right. I forgot that writing and speaking are two pretty different things. He's a tabernacle of a lot more bilingual than I am, so I should StFU. (It was pretty close to a typo, some might say...)
Oops about the bonne. What does bon mean? I think it's a word, but I might not be remembering correctly.

I always thought bon meant good:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bonbon

The name bonbon (or bon-bon) refers to any of several types of sweets, especially small candies enrobed in chocolate.

The first reports of bonbons come from the 17th century, when they were made at the French royal court. Their name arose from infantile reduplication of the word bon, meaning 'good'. In modern French, the term simply refers to any type of small candy.

This sweet inspired Johann Strauss II to compose a waltz named, "Wiener Bonbons".

As far as my response, I just think when asking for help correcting someone's language (especially when the intent is nice) is douchey.

What do I know about diamonds, I'm a boxing promoter.

A built motor with a Turbonetics kit won't help much. Its the kit piping that is the restriction. It just won't push enough airflow to make big numbers. Most people max out below 500whp. Either swap to another kit or possible just upgrade the rods and pistons and don't bother machining the block .20 over.

As far as the trans, keep it till the syncros crap out, then find a used 009 trans and put that in. If you are drifting the car you can expect to go through these every so often.

I'd say your better off rebuilding your VQ35... your going to spend more money in getting a VQ37 in your 350z.

Too much work to get the VQ37 in there, and you will have many issues with gauges, BCM, other stuff you don't even think about now. Way cheaper to rebuild your VQ35.
