VDC turns off sometimes because of no circlip?
So i am going to do a pumpkin swap this saturday with a local. my stock pumpkin for his 4.08 FD pumpkin. Question though he said that his VDC turns off once in awhile, because the mechanic who installed it didnt put a circlip on it. He says it throws off the sensor and so the vdc just turns off.... hmmmm confused here lol. Should i go through with this or how can i fix it so i can have VDC... even though i only drive with vdc when im driving in the rain. Or is there something else that is causing the problem?
sorry if this is something dumb, rather be safe the sorry
Title fixed i hope

If its a C clip , it will only take $3 and 5 minutes to add it. Very good posibility, but the problem is probably in his car.

its the c-clip. he never go it put on so were the axles connect it moves some the the sensor cant read it so shuts it off... going to get that c-clip put on this week. My ABS, VDC and Slip light all come on.
Dik u might be that on your Z, u can check just jack it up n were ur axles connect see if u can move it towards ur tire u shouldnt be able to.
