does a vq37hr block bolt up to the de?
real simple, I just want to know if an vq37hr block bolt up to the de? Im sure it would need a custom tune but no idea if they are a compatible bolt up.
Feel free to tell me to search bc i did but cant spend hours searching and did not find a definitive answer.

careful where you buy it from and who you have do the work.
if you buy a built engine, youd might as well add fi.
It will cost you 2k for a used full motor, 3k to install or DIY.
It will cost you 5600 for a built block and a touch more for labor. Or you can install yourself.
either way, if youre not diy...
someone elses headaches on a 64k mile engine swap in costs you 5k, a built engine w labor costs you 8500, and a built engine w a basic FI system will add another 8 k to that but you will have double the hP.
up to you and your wallet.

people on here keep trying to scare me away from FI. I could just go full bolt ons and a tune but i feel like im still spending a couple grand and getting what 30hpish... hard to justify the bang for my buck.

FI is expensive on these cars. Just the block alone will cost more than a completed b series engine with car.
vq37 is nothing like vq35 except for the fact that they are both nissan. Other than that it's a completely different beast. I have both sitting on the floor in my garage.
