my Toyota 350Z build :)
Sub'd! Definitely interested in a kit around this time next year (granted it'll be going in my G35 coupe. Shouldn't be any big differences between the two chassis)! I'm sure a tach isn't needed; just use the sound of the turbos beginning to spool as a shifting point. lol but if Tony can find a way to make that work, that would be teh win.
A buddy of mine may have a set of OEM 550cc injectors sitting around. I'll have to ask and double check. Why not just run bigger injectors instead of running the OEM stuff?
Speaking of fuel, IIRC isn't the Z/G fuel system a returnless fuel system whereas the Supra system isn't? I read up on it briefly, but don't recall a whole lot about it.
As far as 2JZ/350z's, there's one here in Houston that another buddy of mine did the harness for. Only difference I believe is that he's running an auto tranny, but A/C and all is working in that car.
Glad to see the swap requires a front sump oil pan, since those are easier to come by than the rear sump.
BTW, how's the driveshaft being constructed for the OEM Z rear end and the R154?

You can get everything to work but the tach and the company i work for makes wiring harnesses for theses swaps and we are working on getting the tach to work as i type. The drive shaft should be made with the Z rear and the R154 front. I might have seen this 2jz swapped 350z if it was at import reactor 2 years ago.
Yup, it was at IR '10. Here's the only pic i can find at the moment of said Z.
Hahahah lmao we prob met and you didnt even know it. I was there with all of the S3 mag guys and Super Street photographers causing a riot popping henny with mr 200mph himself break dancing and "planking" what we called at the time "black out pics" with random anime characters i hope to make it back this year and will prob be bringing the g35 out there for Txtk12 in dallas with dimitri

hey guys, been real busy so i have not been able to give updates...
got the injectors (went with the oem 550's just due to price right now...they will be swapped out in the next year or two)
everything is comeing along well..kinda hit a road block with cash and im hopeing that its not going to slow the build down any...so here is what we have now:
-all of the parts except the drive shaft are at the shop
-since im going with oem injectors, a small turbo and not shooting for the hp the motor is built for we went ahead and just bought an APEXI SAFC II..i know its not the best choice BUT with money getting REALLY tight (DUI, school loans not available and a full time schedule with no time to work) it was the best route for me at the moment
-motor is coming out of the car on Wed and is getting all the gaskets, pullys, injectors, resistor pack finalized wiring harness, all guages, clutch, flywheel, and whatever other parts i have sitting in my huge pile of parts put in...
im hopeing that Tony can have the car running by friday and even tho i was praying i could pick it up this weekend...it doesnt look promising...soooo maybe next week sometime if i can get the cash to finish all the "little" things i may need to get

You got torn up on that old youtube video lol I helped
(i'll hit you up on the tubes, we can be frands)2jz motors are the sh*t.
I'm super tired right now (insomnia>me) so I didn't read the whole thread, but what transmission are you planning on running? Did you source a r154? A good buddy of mine was somewhat interested in trying up a cd009 to his 2j, I think it would be a great combo with the right rear end.
