contact wicked CAS 1-603-642-4222 ask for corey or justin tell them logan sent you. They have plenty of supra parts laying around, we are doing a couple of harnesses for them they are a really good shop to deal with. If you cant find the stock injectors then PM me and i can get some aftermarket ones for you.

I also suggest getting a swapped harness, time and time again iv seen people get a spliced harness hacked up re soldered so many times its crazy. Start with a new harness built the right way!
sent you a PM

You can get the stock tach to work now. Cass007 did it on his swap.

Just saw that yesterday after i posted thats im already in contact with franz. With the 2jz i would still suggest a aftermarket cluster looks so much cleaner than multiple gauges and you get the datalogging capabilities

Out of curiosity. Why would there be multiple gauges to get the stock tach to work? I all ready have 3 on my a pillar. And the 3 pod factory above Navi (Which I will be taking out to replace with aftermarket ones that I will benefit from.)

Data logging would be nice, but if you go full standalone, couldn't you just data log from that?

The stock tach still will not work. It is a setting through the Vipec ECU itself that was used on his setup, i found this out after talking with franz. You will also have to wire into the stock can bus system. So you would have to run a vipec ecu which is $2,500 - $10,000 depending on where you can find one. Then you still have to have a harness made for it. Cost on a stack cluster is $1,300.00 and you can tune off the stock ECU with a LSX ecu with HP tuners for less than $150

What i was saying is rather than having gauges all over the place in different locations you can have them in one readout with a aftermarket cluster. Your point about your gauges is exactly my point why would you want 6 gauges in two different locations. When having gauges you want one place to look at not 3 different places (pillar, stock speed, and nav spot) . Not to mention the cost of the gauges, if you are going to run 6 then they are going to be anywhere from 100-300 each depending on which gauges you go with. By then you would have already paid for a aftermarket cluster.

I understand what you are saying, but on this cluster, how will just say 6 gauges fit( Boost, A/F, Water Temp, Oil Temp, Oil Pres, Fuel Pres. ) , a speedo, and a tach? Along with the possibility of fuel level ( like I said, if possible ).

I'm starting a swap that I have been talking about for a few months so I am trying to jump around and gather as much info as I can. I do hoewever have someone who might have an idea on how to get things to work. I will talk to him and post back here with what he has in mind and hopefully some of you can add opinions on it.

Im not offended at all i know sometimes words are taken the wrong way on forums. Im here to help with the knowledge that i have and leran from the experience that others have had. There is a way to get it working through analog and i was testing and working on some things this weekend with the stock cluster. Which swap are you going to be doing. If you need any wiring help feel free to PM

2jz swap into my 03 350z. I have been wanting to do it for awhile, but I decided to finish the exterior this winter and focus on the swap over the summer and start it in the fall. But would like to gather as much info as I possibly can before hand as the car will not be dropped off at a shop to do the work. I greatly appreciate the offer and will definitely keep you in mind and up to date.

My tuner and "wire guy" has wired a 2jz in an m5 and stock tach/cluster to work. I will be sending an email tonight or tomorrow with the questions we have. If we can do what we are hoping to do, then we can successfully get the cluster to function 100% which he has done in previous swaps. He is very knowledgeable with 2jzs as he worked for a big Supra / 2jz shop in the area. That's what the specialize in is 2jz and 1jz.

I will definitely keep you updated via PM as I do not want to clutter up this thread. If anyone has questions or opinions feel free to pm me. If easier I can supply my e-mail address in a pm.
