Default Batl-Ground RB26DETT 350Z info wanted

Whatever happened to Batl-Ground's RB powered 350Z? I haven't been able to find anything online about it and they haven't repsonded to e-mails. I've heard about a rally Z that has the RB, but it's rwd only. Does anyone know of others attempting this engine swap? Thanks in advance.

I've spoken with Dan a couple of times via email. Cool guy and knows his stuff. If he's slow to respond regarding the swap its probably because he got tired of all the RB fan boys cyberspanking it in their emails.

NismoKid,

Do a search for the previous thread on this topic.

The last info posted here was that the owner of the car had taken the car back prior to completion and it was not completed.

The RB powered Fairlady Z that participated in the Pike's Peak Hill Climb was AWD not RWD. Here is a link ( http://www.nismo.co.jp/M_SPORTS/news2003/news19.html ) to an article about the Z's at Pike's Peak from Nismo Japan's website news section. You'll need to cut/paste into a translator like Babelfish.altavista.com unless you read Japanese.

As for the vehicle which this time Kobayashi drives, in the body of Z the RB26DETT engine of skyline GT-R (approximately 600ps) with those which transplant the drive system of 4WD. On the one hand, the vehicle which Nagashima drives almost to be close to normal and group N at the beginning entry had done in high performance showroom stock class, but class was not formed because the participation quantity is small, became entry to same ƒpƒCƒNƒXƒI?[ƒvƒ“ƒNƒ‰ƒX as Kobayashi.

coooooooooooooool!!!

I would budget north of 10k to get it done right.

10k is just right on the money from what i have been seeing for rb26 conversions the last couple of days. sr20's too. sounds cheeper than a 7k superchrgr and a 6k new motor.

I asked Unstable-Hybrids how much an AWD R34-RB26 350Z conversion would cost with the OBD-II monitoring video system. They said they couldn't give me an exact price, but around $20k.
