Default Fun at the auto parts store

I was in my local automotive store the other day, and I see they have a brand new employee. This poor guy loks like a computer geek and definitely does not look like a car guy. (Ok, I'm ready for the flames.. I know, I know, never judge a book by it's cover...)

I just wanted to go have some fun and see if he could find me a set of 9mm plug wires for the Z.

Anyone else ever messed with their local auto shop?

Call one and tell them you are looking for a thermostat for a 1973 aircooled VW beetle. See how long they look for one.

i used to have a good time talkin to the guys at jiffy lube; i haven't gone there since i bought my z though. the one was sayin the evo is cool, it's twin-turbo (not twin-scroll), but it's still just a lancer. all the while he's talkin up his debadged cavalier, sayin u can't even tell it's a cavalier, man. until this day i'm still tryin to get those 5 minutes of my life back.
