So im in the army, lol don't make a whole terrible lot but enough to go splurge here and there. I have a 03 350z 6MT. So far I have modded headers, cat less test pipes, dual cat back exhaust, ram air intake. and I have the motordyne plenum 5/16"spacer and motordyne mrev2 on the way and im getting the Osiris tune at the end of the month. I don't plan on doing any F/I any time soon because I don't have the money for it. Any thing else performance wise I could do? Also does anyone know how to rig LED lights to my hids connector? got leds not paying attention(that's what I get for shopping drunk) and ive rigged them to kind of work but not completely so any ideas on that would be nice. Aswell as how hard is it to install a fly wheel? if to hard, how much does it cost for a shop to do? im not very mechanically inclined

yeah bro you have hit the wall with boltons, only thing left for you are cams, if you want to stay NA, or a engine rebuild for more compression and displacement, or both, most of the time people do both

Not sure what quality the tuning shops are like around where you are but whoever told you that you can't change the cams in the 350Z is talking out of their ***. JUN make 272degree cams with 10.8mm lift along with springs, titanium retainers and cam gears. Cosworth have fully built VQ35 bottom ends and CNC ported heads available off the shelf. They also manufacture camshafts at 270degrees. Super Taikyu also make camshafts although I'm not too sure of the specs. I also think Brian Crower makes cams which is a little closer to home for you. Cost = $$'s a few more $$'s and then add a few more $$'s just to be sure.

Get deployed --> Eat MRE's & food from the Mess Hall --> Save the cash --> Splurge it on a Built motor & TT kit.

NA mods = low return on $$$$ spent.

What about 4.08 or 3.9 final drive? Doesn't really add hp per se but may add that extra little kick in the pants your looking for. I dont have em but some people seem to like them. Not terribly expensive either.

+1 on 4.08s. I want them with a passion, but I have to save for a differential as well. Maybe look in to adjustable Sway bars... I have the Hotchkis version 2 and they drastically improve handling.

Thank you for your service in the Army -

If it was me, I'd add an oil cooler…not necessary for a NA application but a good way to lower your engine temps in lower…

I would wait until you build your block for cams...

I would save up for a built block and a twin turbo kit ($20k-$25k all in) and if that's too much, you don't want to go down that route or it's too big of a pain in the *** I would keep your car exactly how you have it.
