Default IT'S HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just got back from getting my baseline dyno.

245.7 peak rwhp
250.3 peak torque

I have it on disk so later today I will be able to show the baseline for all to see.

I am now going out to the garage to install the lsdunique hi-flow cats that came yesterday. Tomorrow mornings dyno will show JUST THE CATS, because no one has done this just yet for lsd.

THEN, AFTER THAT DYNO I WILL GO OUT IN THE PARKING LOT AND INSTALL THE .....

DRUM ROLL PLEASE......

BRAND SPANKING NEW, HOT OFF THE MACHINE THAT FABRICATES THEM.......

LSDUNIQUE PLASTIC PLENUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When i got back from the dyno it was waiting at my po box. lsdunique said he was up till 3:00 am putting on the final touches before DRIVING it down to san diego so I would have it for the dyno day tomorrow at the dyno shop in Santee, CA (east san diego)

after the mornings cat dyno i will go out in the parking lot and install the new plenum then go back in for another dyno run. After I am finished I will then come home and post more pic's and the dyno's so everyone can see the actually results from 1) just the cats and 2) just the new plastic plenum.

So now I'm out to the garage to install the cats so pictures (which take me a while to put together) must wait till later. (but there will be plenty so be just a little more patient)

thats it, I'm out.....

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it must be very exciting. however, i wouldn't know because i only have a grounding kit on. i would love to do a couple of mods but, i can't afford it now. however, the first mod i would do is a hi-flow cat, then, headers.

CONGRATS, again

Wow, those are excellent dyno numbers as you now stand.
Are you going to put some miles on the cats or do an ECU reset before doing the dyno? Same procedure with the plenum dyno?

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME (yup, that's the sound I make when I cream my pants out of excitement). This is exactly what I want to spend my refund check on. If you dynos look good, as soon as I get the ACH transaction from The Fed, I will be placing an order. WOOHOO!

Actually, this thread is great without pics. The only pics I'll want to see are the dyno charts.

You wouldn't want to know if there was a giant plastic nut sack molded on top?

Nah, I think that might enhance performance. Again, performance is the key, and a giant ******* would contribute to obvious performance gains. As long as it helps performance and can maybe be OK with my dealer.

ok, i'm back after the cat install.

not so bad but if anyone is preparing to do this on jacks do n ot tighten anything until the ENTIRE thing is put together. That includes the mounting bolts.

NOW, the girlie wants dinner and a movie and I still need to get cleaned up but I promise to post a pic or two before leaving for the night.

anyone who wants to see it (the plenum) in person should come out to The Dyno Shop in santee tomorrow morning.

I'LL BE BACK.....
