Sheared my flywheel bolts at the track. Flywheel has been on the car for 118k miles, it's trash now. Flywheel was not removed when I did my clutch 500 miles ago . Tomorrow I try to clean up the crank , hopefully it's still good
Pulled the trans back when dropping it and started to see the webbing on the back of my block, was sitting there like" this isn't good"
Now to figure out what ARP bolts I need to buy. Going to grap the flywheel and pressure plate bolts

Just snapped my first EZ out , got the bolt to turn 1/2 turn before it snapped.
What to do, what to do.

I like Cobra's idea. Meanwhile they should exchange the broken extractor. Kobalt, Craftsman etc all guarantee hand tools for life. Liquid Wrench soaking overnight, then PB Blaster and a propane torch.
Good luck!

Thinking center punch to punch the broken EZ out all the way thru. I completely drilled thru the bolt prior, then open it up for a larger sized EZ out.
Also going to take a Roloc disk ( blue or red) to the crank surface to clean the aluminum off it. Seems like the steel crank should be ok under the aluminum that is imbedded into it

Down to 2 bolts left in the crank. One has the snapped EZ out, but I may be able to salvage this thing.

That vid was fun to watch. I think that's the first time I've seen your car in action.

Except for when your car pooped itself. Heck, I would've shat myself if I heard that happen to my Z while driving it. Makes me want to cry.

I'm curious what caused this though?
