Default Rebuilding engine vs buying a used one

Hey all, probably already been asked a billion times sorry, but is it better to buy a used engine or just get the one I have rebuild. What are the costs of both and also if someone please could post links to treads that talk about rebuilding the engine or for sale engines. I've looked and have not had any luck. Thanks.

A low miles junkyard engine would be your CHEAPEST bet. Having an engine builder build you a vq from an ipp block would be your BEST option if you have the money.

If you end up getting a junkyard engine make sure that it has a guarantee and is compression tested.
