Default 06-08 HR engine in a 04 350z?

This is probably a dumb question, but could a HR engine fit into a 2004 Nissan 350z? I need to know because i may be having to engine swap my Z and i'd prefer not to have the DE again. Thanks.

Wow, haven't seen this question in at least 2 months! Laff....

But ya, anything is possible. However, EVERYTHING needs to be changed out from the engine (duh) to the ECM to the harness to the hood to the front radiator support (or something like that) and all new hoses and transmission/clutch assembly.... so on and so on.

Going to go to that much trouble, consider LSX.

For the effort, might as well drop in a LS

Get a DE and drop in cams. There ya go, instant HR. Plus way cheaper.

I used to, but not any longer. My account is still active though, and I may check it every once in a while through boredom.

I would vote to either cam your DE or LS swap it if you have a line on the parts for a good price. The money and effort to swap in an HR (probably) isn't worth it in the long run.
