Unhappy Need help 04 350z de $$$

I have a 2004 Nissan 350 Z with 147k yesterday I took off the upper and lower intake to replace my Valve covers in the process i removed the t/b and made sure not to touch the plate. I also removed the bank one vvt solenoid to lift the valve cover off and replaced both cam sensors . Started car took a sec of cranking started was a choppy at idle but seemed to rev fine then it wasnt starting ! Threw a p0234 code for cam sensor bank1 circut low voltage i replaced with a brand new cheaper sensor and now she cranks over seemingly fine but dies almost immediately ! And it wont rev when i cracnk it and it starts i can press the gas but absolutely nothing ! Im at a loss if any one can help im wondering if my t/b might have crapped out inconveniently?? It is an original unit ! Any info would help thank you

You should return the inexpensive sensor and go buy genuine nissan OEM sensors to start. From there see if the code comes back. Aftermarket sensors are problematic.

The engine / ecu doesnt like aftermarket cam sensors regardless -

does the car start for more than 2 seconds?

You're also likely in limp mode

1. get OEM sensors
2. reset the TB by the reset procedure
3. clear any check engine light codes
4. get the car out of limp mode

go from there

are you 10,000% sure you put cylinder #4 and #6 coil wires back on correctly? This is often mis-matched when taken off and they are not logically placed.

just go to Nissan and buy their sensors … you need to eliminate every single fault that exists on your car and going with anything but OEM is leaving a small chance that something continues to go wrong.

I believe that's correct. When I replaced my sensors I recall them being Hitachi. Also, I think the original OEM sensors have been superseded by an updated model. The new ones had a metal shielding covering the black plastic.

Try courtesyparts for the right p/n.
