Default 2006 350z 6 speed MT have to give more gas than normal starting off

I’m trying to figure out if this is an engine or transmission problem. When I release the clutch you have to give it more throttle than you should to move or it will stall. It seems to have a very limited range of engagement. Almost like you are dumping the clutch every time. There is absolutely no creeping In this car. Everything is stock.

Would try bleeding your clutch, fresh fluid may help.

Welcome- you don't mention about how many miles are on this Z, but it does sound like a clutch problem. Any service records to show when, or if, it has ever been replaced?

It has 160k, I’ve had it since 60k, it hasn’t been replaced. It doesn’t seem to be slipping, almost the opposite it bits hard when you release it fully. Just no soft start. It’s like starting on a hill every time you move in 1st or reverse. If you don’t give it that much throttle it will stall.
