Default Need help 2003 350z wont start

Hi guys, im in desperate need of some ideas on my why Z will not start. It has been sitting for about a year and I just put in a brand new battery. When I turn the key it makes this flapping noise and does not attempt to crank at all. Please see the video attached for the exact sound its making.

If it's been sitting for a year, some wires could have been chewed by mice. I don't hear anything in your video. Check your belts and all your electrical connections in your engine bay. Maybe look at the battery cables and follow them into your firewall as much as you can.

Agreed with rodent comment. Also worth looking at- is the red NATS/Anti-theft light off with that key? Pull any fuses related to IGN and starter, confirm they're good.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, no anti-theft light on.. is it supposed to be with the key inserted? I have replaced the IPDM fuse with no luck and cannot see any signs of chewed wires..

Or get jumper cables and apply 12V+ directly to starter.

Do you think a bad starter would cause this behavior of the single pop/flap noise when turning the key?

Just replaced the starter and its doing the same thing... just one click/pop noise when turning the key... Any other suggestions guys? I do not see any evidence of chewed wires.
