I plan on putting it in after my SC install in 2 weeks...running mobil 1 right now....The shop thats doing the install is a Vortech and redline distributor . I think any name brand , Redline , Royal Purple ,Mobil 1...should be good synthetic oils

im using 10w30, i drive my Z pretty hard just about every day i get to drive it. always up in the high RPM range if its engine braking it fast acceleration, or donuts...i changed my oil and filter the day before i got dyno'ed and got 231.7 whp and 213.9 torque...i also went to the track the same day and ran a 13.9 for the 1/4...1st time doing dyno and going to the track...i was pretty happy with my numbers and time...especially for an auto...i know most people who do plenum and others get those #'s...i plan on being in the 250-270whp range after this summer is over...

I use a K&N Oil filter also with my 10w30 redline synthetic oil...
also Redline and Amsoil synthetic are the best oils out right now...mobil 1 is nice but not the best you can have for your car/engine...i would really recommend redline and any other redline fluids for your vechicle...they are proven to be some of the best...

Ben

Me. 5W30. IMO it's better than Royal Purple and it's 100% synthetic (got ~1+ MPG). But I have heard that some people have get a "gelling" effect under hard driving conditions. I haven't.
