Default dynoed today not sure about the results

ok ill get to the mods i have on the car first

at present it has
xerd race pipes...borla true dual...nismo cold air intake and kinetix version 4 plenum

now it was 84.3 degrees and the humidity was 87.4 percent and i didnt ask for corected results.. elavation is about 750 foot above sea level

it was on a dynojet machine

first run was 224.71 hp and 223.42 tq
let off the throttle a little early
second run was 242.77 hp and 224.22 tq
third run was 241.18 hp and 223.82 tq

a/f ratio stayed a little above 14 til around 5000 rpm then it set at right about 12.5

i tried to scan the sheet to post but my scanner wont pick up parts of the sheet as it is too light i guess....

what you guys think the corrected numbers would be?

and are my numbers in line with what i have for mods?

thanks alot fellas

tony

I'm no where near an expert but at first glance those numbers seem really low. Some ppl dyno w/ higher numbers with a stock car.

Just dynoing a car is totally worthless. Dyno's are so inconsistant from one to another, even ones of the same brand. Their only accurate use is to dyno your car before and after a modification. This must be done at the same location every time, otherwise the readings are meaningless.

Have you every read and of the magazine articles where they take a bone stock car to 7 or 8 different dyno's in one day? The rwhp numbers will vary as much as 40hp for one dyno to the next.

What was your baseline? If you didn't take a baseline then it's a moot point.

What 350Zteve said.

Dyno results vary from location to location. In Atlanta I Dynoed 368 @ 6PSI, went to another dyno the very next day and Dynoed 345 @ 6PSI.

Take dyno results with a grain of salt unless the numbers are very low. I don't feel for your mods that those dyno numbers are very low.

Just for reference, my baseline was 235, then with an intake it was 234.5, then with the injen exhaust it was 240.

Did you gain or loose torque with the Injen Exhaust?

Loose the Nismo intake and redyno... we had a local guy who had one. We ripped it off, and he gained 12...

No guarantees, but these aftermarket plenums do not compliment AEM/NISMO intakes very well.

I'll have the whole issue up on the site in the future with the full skinny and charts...but with the Intake I lost 8lbs/tq

With exhaust I gained a bunch of it back. I can't recall off the top of my head, when I get back home I'll take a look and post.

Tony you need to bring your car to me. I finally got to see the inards of the 350 runners and know where to extract more top end HP from. This would be a great compliment to the Nismo cams and 7200 rev limit.

If you dont have my new Cell # just email me.
