It's a PITA. Use some extensions and swivel joints with the hoses and wire harnesses pushed away as much as possible.

HI all, i know old thread, but keeps coming up. So after 17 years, my 350z started misfiring, started taking apart, sure enough, oil in the back spark plug coils and around the valve covers. fortunate enough that RnD factory answered my email, and yes, they sent me their repair kit for plug and valve cover gaskets including the alignment tool. Took about a week to receive, changed them out, with much of the instructions found on this site plus service manual for torque settings. Works great. Of course when I emailed the company back to receive the deposit on their tool they didn't respond but anyway happy that the job was done without having to buy new covers. Just wanted contribute a tiny bit back to the community.

Glad to hear it went well. RND sounds like it's run by children.
I resealed mine and they have been holding for 5+ years.

Good to hear Z33Garage, yeah kind of like children, although i think my 4 and 5 year old would be a little more receptive than they were, but anyway, got the job done. Happy to help anyone who might need the alignment tool. Now to clutch change

After taking the coolant lines off and reassembling everything, do I need to bleed my coolant system Because of air or can I fill it up, what’s the procedure for the coolant that is lost during the process? Thanks
