5AT to 6MT Swap INFO, ***, DIY, GUIDE Thread!
hi I have a question can I use a manual Ecu with the automatic harness? Also I swapped both ecu and engine harness to a 6mt and splice the the wires but my car only cranks and almost turns over like it lets out combustion some from the exhaust and idea what it can be ?
ik this is an old thread but i just recently finished the swap in my 2003 350z with auto ecu and auto harness.
tapped into my ipdm connector e8 pin 43 into a switched power wire and Z cranks but no start.
ive double checked my wiring and making sure i did it right
double checked cam and crank sensors, all fuses and relays, checked codes and only getting u1000/1001 which ik is normal.
ive disconnected battery and let sit overnight to drain any power left in the system
ive got fuel and all. im assuming my ecu cut spark and i cant figure out why
