Nice build! What kind of power are you looking to make?

If it was me ... I would keep your turbo'd in-tact and find a salvaged / high mileage z and do the LS swap in it.

Regardless - interested in your build and subscribed!

i was 100 percent debating the same thing. It was just hard to sell my wife on letting me buy another Z. Then I feel guilty on ruining such a clean low mile Z.
So I came to the conclusion I’m ok with doing the swap because I plan on keeping the car for a long time and it would be extremely hard to find another cheap z that is as clean outside and in.

Here is the turbo setup, very clean and I currently have the motor, trans and turbo kit up for sale.

The day I picked up the motor. I think I drove from Panama City all the way to Jacksonville Fl

I started tearing everything down and cleaning the block.

Looking back - circa 2010 I started gutting my car and essentially took a +/-$20k 45k mile touring model z33 and cut it's value in half. I have no intention of selling my car so it's not a huge thing but still

Great progress - love the pics!
