Default FINALLY AVAILABLE WORLD WIDE! S&R Short Blocks

S&R is THE premiere VQ shop in the region. We know the platform inside and out. We build our engines in house and have NEVER had one fail. We use quality parts and Durdan does his magic and a block is born!

Our short blocks go through a rigorous inspection process, are machined to our VERY particular specs and assembled in house.

Durdan's piston are has become really popular and I've even received messages from people asking for more. lol

Sleeved Blocks:

Non-Sleeved Blocks:

Our short blocks start at just $3299!

One of our most common combos is good to 600hp
Manley H Beam Rods
CP Pistons
Balanced Crank

We have the ability to build it with any brand that you prefer!
WISECO
EAGLE
ROSS
CP
MANLEY
ACL
CALICO

We want to build a motor to meet your exact needs!

Each block is badged and dated

I want to help answer any questions that you could possibly have. No matter what kind of power you're looking to build, NA or FI, we've got a block available to meet your needs!

yes! We are building a MONSTER HR Block right now for the Gamermodz car. We can build ANYTHING related to a VQ!

Shoot me a pm with what kind of power you need to handle and what kind of use we're looking at and we'll put a quote together for you.

I know that motors leave people with a lot of questions so let us know how we can help. We are the guys that really build these cars, we're not a basement retailer. We want to help and earn your business.

This is very true, but at the same time, i have been building high performance japanese motors for over 10 yrs and everyone is still on the road today making the same power as they did when first assembled.

i prefer to build motors that last just as long as factory intended and make the great power people expect

i'll have to look up some charts when i get a chance out on the dyno computer. i built a 2006 rev-up 350Z with an out of the box greddy twin kit and larger injectors and he made 513whp. we kept it pretty conservative.

i want to say that the first HR i put together made in the 550-560whp range on a pair of HKS GTRS's. On that one, though, we had purchased a used turbo kit that someone had actually pieced together since at the time, no HR turbo kit was really available. We had to halt the tuning efforts when we found that the wastegate actuators were unmatched and began to spool one turbo quicker than the other. I am actually in the process, right now, of installing Forge actuators and sync'ing them together.

I also just completed a DE build with the GTM twin kit, but i dont have any numbers yet as he is still in the break-in period that i like to establish.

there are plenty others, but no need to flood the thread.

i am, however, extremely excited about this lastest HR build. I built a 4.2L stroker out of it, we had the greddy 20G's modified to fit 60-1 compressor wheels and the customer is shooting for the 1000whp range. the motor is currently poised in front of the cavernous shell of an engine bay awaiting transplant

i think i misread your quote as saying "you can never say failed"

i have built many motors in the last 10yrs. to try counting would be rediculous, but to give you an idea... ive assembled about 9 motors in the last 2 weeks alone, and this is pretty par for the course.
