Default Parking lights AKA DRLs?

Are parking lights also known as daytime running lights?

Bulb 168?

actually.. day time running lights are not the parking lights

in Canada, all cars come equipped with DRLs, which for most cars, involves a relay/capacitor wired to the high beams so that only 10-25% of the regular light is emitted during the day. DRLs cannot be turned off... the only way to turn them off, is to turn on your low beams....

The DRL really drowns the natural colors of the HIDs

So replacing the bulbs won't make the color offset difference, would it? I just don't want to have that "bluish" tint to my bulb when they're off.

But they do stay off until you release your parking brake. I think this was implemented due to the ruthless drive-in industry lobbyists.
