Question Automatic lights???

I forgot to check and see if the 350z had automatic lights. By that i mean does it have a setting to sense if it is dark and turn on the lights automaticly?

no. but they turn off by themselves when you leave them on by mistake and the car isn't on.

I was wondering the same thing. The G has it. So wouldn't it be as simple as a fuse or something? I will look into this later.

anyone ever put in an aftermarket light sensor system? I absolutely hate turning on my lights manually, this is the only car I have ever owned that I had to turn the lights on manually. I know there are aftermarket kits out there, I just need to find one

you can go to your local dealership and tell them to reprogram the lights to go off a few seconds after the car is off instead of the usual 5 minutes.

it should cost you 70-90 dollars

He wants truly automatic lights, on when dark, off when light, all without using the switch.

Getting them reprogrammed and leaving the switch set to ON would cause them to come on every time he starts the car and go off shortly after removing the key. Not exactly the same thing.
