Default Anyone swapped and ledded vanity mirror lights?

Hello again, I'm the process of ordering all of the necessary led bulbs to replace standard ones, both inside and out. The list is ready (I am not ledding turn bulbs - got evostyle ones) and I'm ok with the map light festoon replacements (will order both 31x10 and 39x10 ones with leds inside), but was wondering if replacements exist for the vanity mirror ones. Help greatly appreciated...ciao!

I thought about this too, but it's a lil bit cramped. It's low priority for me since I rarely use the vanity mirrors ;-)

Oh man. Please let me know what you find. I'm seriously interested. I looked in the owners manual and the service manual, but all I found was that the bulb is a 1.32W bulb. No sizes were listed.

The bulb itself is physically soldered onto the circuit board, so it's not one of those bayonet or wedge type bulbs.

A cool mod would be to have someone fabricate a circuit board that can hold some surface mount type LEDs. If I do the lighting mods this summer, I might use the same type of LEDs for my gauge cluster if I have enough clearance.

If you guys are looking for surface mount LEDs, you need to look at the Maplight Minis...
http://www.Hi-TecDesigns.com

Full color spectrum in a 1.3" x 0.5" package, plugs right into the festoon bulb socket. No fuss, no muss.

Not the map lights... the vanity mirror lights. It's a bit cramped.

I have "ledded" the exterior (plate, tail lights, stop lights, sidemarkers, etc) and the interior (trunk, map) of my car. All I need now is the little light inside the compartment behind the passenger's seat and the small festoons inside the vanity mirrors. I have opened the mirrors and measured the bulb (it has flat ends): it is 31mmx6mm. The smallest led festoons I have found are 31x10 and are therefore too big. Anybody have any suggestions/knows where I can get them? Glad if you could help! Ciao
