I got my plates for the Z. Once I mount them I'll take a new pic to show how much the "wedge type" LED lights them up. It isn't much but thats what I want. Just enough light to be legal, but not so much where you can read my plate a mile away. lol

The same thing happened to me. My led bulbs in the license plate and headlight have failed.

I wouldn't waste money on more.

I think the heat kills them some how or it could be the higher wattage.

I do have a 5led red wedge bulb in my tail lights and they still work. (lil led bulb in the corner, not brake light)

yeah. mine did same. My front driving lights were blinking and now dead.
My interior lights (6 LEDs on each side) were blinking so I replaced back to stock and now its working fine. My rear license plate lights are dead after blinking. So I put back to stock but although I replaced to new bulbs, one is totally dead so I only running one light bulb for the license plate. I kinda disapointed wasting my money and messing up my lights. Its cool for sure but somewhat not really realible in my opinion.

Anyone has any idea what I have to do to make rear license plate light bulb works?

I would recommend a reputable brand of plain hyper white bulbs.

The blueish tint ones will work in the license plate fine, you can't see the blue of course.

I had polarg hyperwhites in my civic license plate lights for about 3+ years and now one finally went out.

How bright are the turn signals themselves? I was planning on blacking out the whole headlight and want to do the top reflector too.

Are they simply going out b/c of the heat in the headlights? I live in AZ so heat is definitely an issue even when the car is off.

+3 on me too.

Lost an overhead light, a orange slice light, a license plate light ... all within less than 500 miles of use ... most of it with the lights off in the day time. The car is garage kept, doesn't see rain, and heavens no snow.

All my LED's were from BrightLEDs.com - I'm buying extras now and figuring I'm spending as much on LEDs a mile as I am gas.

Something is really wrong with these products. When I wrote the seller they said that nobody else is having problems. The lights flicker rapidly, come on, and then later they fail.

I haven't had any problems. I don't use them to light up stuff I need to see but more for the nice accent look. The only LED I use to light up something I need to see are my reverse lights (LEDs) and I used a 15 LED bulb, everything else is a wedge type.

No. 7440 is a single inductor, 7443 has dual inductors. What this mean is that in the bulb (not LED) form the 7440 only flashes. The 7443 lights up and flashes. Does that help?

So then...where can we go for RELIABLE AND BRIGHT led lighting? I'm tired of these damn temporary solutions that honestly aren't that cheap to keep buying again and again. Not to mention its a pain to re-install them..

Peace..

so 7443 is duel pigment. Hmmm.. i was thinking that 7440 LED would work with 7443 spot. guess not.
Thanks for clear that out for me~

I Don't see why the 7440 LED wouldn't work. LED don't have dual pigments so it would work as a 7440 bulb.
