3 ohms if you're changing out both front and rear, 6 ohms if you're just changing out one or the other. You'll only need two resistors - one on either side - total.

trescincuenta,

Why do the front parking lights look blue even though the LEDs that you ordered are white?

Cause thats just how they light up LoL... my originalk p[arking lights I had gotten from superbrightleds.com for my 240sx actually were purplish, and they matched the HIDs PERFECTLY. When those died and i bought replacements, they were bluish

I like how they have wide-viewing-angle LEDs on the site. The only reason I hadn't favored LED bulbs so far had been their highly focused beam.

Did you buy any new 8000 HIDs? If so, where and is it worth it?

Thanks.

I just purchased 2 sets of white inverted 194 LEDs, a set of 7440 white 15 LEDs and a set of chrome/amber 7440 bulbs. Can't wait to get them and install them. I ordered my LEDs from www.VLEDs.com though and find the bulbs on E-Bay.

Wow this is one long thread. I would just like to point out some mis-information here. "Drop-in" LEDs (LED Matrix bulbs, Single LED bulbs) are horrible solutions for exterior lighting. I would really hesitate to use them in any brake or turn signal application. They are simply not bright enought for those functions. These type of solutions are NOT brighter than stock incandescent lighting. If people say otherwise they need to get their eyes checked.

The only way to do this properly is to create a custom array using high quality LEDs. Here is an example of an array I made for my clear corner lights:

Testing Circuit:

Mounted and lighted during the day:

Lighted at night:

I have the same exact parking lights. A word of warning, they do not match the stock HID headlight color. Basically if you're looking head-on, you can see these blue dots of light, which IMO doesn't look very clean. I'm trying to see if 6000k HID bulb's will change that.

I hated that part as well. I put the white wedge type in the front parking and for plate. I don't want it really bright... Just lit so by law I can't get a ticket.
