Hardwiring Accessories (Radar, Foot Well Lighting, etc) ...
Is there a how-to guide for how to wire stuff into the passenger compartment fuse panel on the ZR? I want to hardware a V1 running the cable up from the Rearview mirror and slip it into the frame of the windshield on top (apparently this can be done with a credit card or similar? Anyone try this and can verify?) I want to run down the side and into the fuse panel by the clutch/foot holder. Once I get the cable down there though, I don't know how to connect it to the fuse panel correctly.
I'm not very handy ... so if this is difficult I suppose I can take it to a local Installer and have them do it ... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

If you don't have side curtains this install is cake bro you just
run through mirror along head liner, down plastic piller to fuse box (remove plastic by feet as well) wire is now concielled and hardest part would have been removing pillar plastics (pull towards passenger door) the clips are stubborn though. If more questions email me

So on the ZR, I can just tuck it along the inside all the way down to the bottom? I can tuck between the carpet and plastic I guess?
Sorry if this sounds dumb ... just never done it and would like to learn. Also don't know how to actually get it to pull power off the fuse box ... does that have like connectors or something that you just clip into?

They don't take a lot of power but that is lazy mans way out, do it like I explained read what I wrote twice then start, all will be revealed when you start doing it, not complicated, hide wire = good, wire showing = bad
Radar detectors draw jack for power (that's electrician for a few watts) so you can connect them to another already used circuit which will handle the extra few hundred milliamps without popping the fuse. For my radar detector I wanted it to come on and off with the key so I went for the cigarette lighter {power outlet in PC terms} on the passenger's side.
This had the advantage of keeping the wires out from the driver's side which already has an aftermarket alarm system with it's ten or so wires attached.
The A pillar panels pop straight off with a bit of effort. You'll see that there's a hole under the lowest part of the pillar - up under the windshield - you can drop the wire down that hole and you'll be deep inside the dash. Make sure you wrap your dropped wire in electrical tape to prevent/reduce rattles and anchor it as close to each end as you can get.
