Default Need Help ASAP from Lambo Door Purchaser (Vertical Doors Inc)

Hey guys, I need to order new door shocks, and I need them ASAP so Vertex Motorsports can install them for me before I leave on Sunday.

The problem is that Vertical Doors, Inc. won't setll them to me unless they can associate a name with a previous purchase (for the purpose of protecting their product).

So I really need someone's help. All I'm asking for is the name on file of someone who has purchased directly from them so that I may get replacement shocks (at $150 each!! eek)

Your immediate assistance is very much appreciated.

Thank you.

Thanks for the quick reply elite, can you please tell me the color of the sticker? It's been so long, I don't remember lol. And I'm at work and the car is 8 floors down in the parking garage. I don't want my boss to see me coming and going :P Thanks!

Well they won't do anything. I'm sitting here with the original box in front of me. Original instructions, original flyer ads, VDI Window Decal...and they won't do anything. I have to go through a "vendor." So once again, I'm asking, please, does anyone deal directly with them or can put me in touch with someone who has? I need these shocks overnighted.

Thank you

That was the most difficult little thing I've ever done in my life. It turns out I just got the wrong salesperson to talk to. Vera (sp) wouldn't budge a millimeter on their policy to sell only thru vendors. I contacted zcarparts.com who deals with VDI, but they never got back to me on the quote. So I googled a bunch of VDI vendors until I finally got to Mike at Automega.

He was very friendly, and very, very quick in getting back to me by phone and finally put me in touch with another salesperson at VDI. Now I'm dealing with Venessa and hopefully the order should be overnighted by day's end.

That's the warranty period. My shocks have been on for 411 days and the driver side is still fine. The passenger side started going stupid after 3 months or so.

They just got weak. Wouldn't stay up in cold weather very well. Even when it got to be 70 degrees outside they sometimes had to be warmed up by hand first.
