Default Carbon fiber rear OEM LIp. Help.

I having issue making both edges to stick to the trunk. Should I drill the lip in to my trunk or should I get some thing else that's better than 3m double side tape to make this work.

3M will hold that forever. I put 3M on my Vertex CF wing.

if ur having trouble getting the edges to stick, there are two things to look at

1. the curvature of the OEM replica. is it really the same fit at the trunk you're applying to? if its not flexing, then that wing's mold was probably tweaked.

2. are you using enough 3m tape? the OEM wing from factory had ALLLLLLLLLOT of tape.. so besure to use alot.. clean both surfaces with alcohol pads prior to your 3m tape ... if all else fails, goto Home Depot and use the ALL WEATHER heavy duty 3m tape... that will stick to anything..

3M tape are great but , it looks like a bad construction or molding... I ll try it again tonight.. SIGH.. it looks sweet , but that 1 edge is just keep coming off.. So ,if I decide to drill....any suggestion for non leaking trunk?

Ouch! If it were me, I wouldn't drill just to make a bad product fit. Once you do it...you can' go back!

I'm gonna try to 3M or possibly other adhesive type , then the drill.. b/c 2 tiny lil holes won't hurt, plus.. it will prevent a "drive by let me pull your spoiler off real quick " situation. Thanks for the suggestions BTW guys

use GORILLA GLUE! That stuff holds like crazy! But you'll probably never be able to take it off without damaging the paint.

i have one just like it for sale for 65 bucks plus shipping. I also had to use 3M tape for home depot. but ive only had mine on for about 3 weeks now. Im going to go spoilerless and shave the rear wiper and the rear Z and have the deck just clean.
