M1 or M.O.B?...i want to get a light tint so the light is a dark cherry color, but im not sure which shop does a good job, also let me know if you guys konw of any other shops around the LA/OC area that will do a good job.

 

Hey Amir. I'm actually going to be doing the same thing. I was originally going to go with BlueBat's taillight overlays, but the dark is too dark, and the light is too light. I also want to achieve a dark cherry color. Let me know when you get it done!

I'm going to wait to get the '06 LED taillights first, and have Hiro at Sixteen Customs do it for me.

Sixteen Customs is in Gardena. What shade are you going with? Like I said, I'm thinking somewhere between 3/10 and 6/10.

 

Body Pros was really good at this stuff but they are no longer in business

 

I dont think my 6/10 is all that dark.

That's true, they're really not that dark. But they give a more "blacked out" kind of look. I just want a subtle look, kind of like 3/10, but just a BIT darker, similar to some of the newer Mercedes.

BTW, I'll try to get a money order this week for the overlays. Do you think you can include a small square sample of the 3/10? Really doesn't matter how big it is. I'll be getting ur 6/10 zh1 and I want to compare it to the 3/10. If your 3/10 is dark enough, then I'll just end up getting the overlays and not having to deal with getting them paint/tinted.
