What kind of hub did you use? SInce you have a new steering wheel, the driver airbag wire is unhooked. Splash hubs comes with wires to disable the airbag light.

ok...someone just told me that even though if i reset it from the dealer, i can not make those airbag lights go off, since circuits are open...
so...this is what i'm going to do...
spash hub came with only one 2ohm resister...(JDM spec has only one plug behind airbag) gonna get another resister...tap it...and try those 7seconds key trick or take it to dealer and see what happens from there....
i'll keep you guys updated...

I installed my momo steering wheel today and i had the same problem. So 350z dont have 2 plugs in japan? Will I have to jump both connectors? All I need to do is make another one of those jumpers and jump the orange one? I cant stand seeing the air bag light blinking.

This way is more fun, and shows interest with a bump.

Dang this thread is OLD! You will need 2 jumpers to make the light go out. When you buy the new steering wheel and hub, make sure they provide you with 2 jumpers and you will be good to go.

If we say the word "jumper" will they know what we are talking about? I thought they were resistors...

Not to quibble...just that they are very different things. All too often good forum advice is wasted because plenty of speedshops are picky enough that if you don't use the exact terminology then they act like you are speaking another language.

If resistors, what ohm each? 2?

To me, the things look like 2 wires connected to a fuse. Talk to Logan at ASpec ((626) 618-1100 x 113), he will know what you are asking about when you tell him it is for the air bag.
