Help with Bat Overlays Tail lights!
well my personal experience with them was that it took a damn long time to get the rear tailights ones done. Once i was done the top parts that go under the trunk still had some wrinkles, but they arent noticeable, so i just left them like that because no ones gonna pop my trunk and look for them. Also upon close inspection i had many littles bubbles, and i have left those too. Im wondering, are the interior overlays for the ac vent and etc easier to apply than the taillight ones?

I think Imma try to order it again and have it done professional. I really like the smoke out look!
Wonder if it'd be easier to work the edges and tuck where needed if the tail lights were removed from the car? Prob easier to do the majority of it on the car, though. Have mine sitting in the garage and getting nervous about putting them on after reading all this and looking at Bat's pictorial install thread; looks tough to get perfect. As for pro install, any clear bra installer should be able to do it; installation technique is the same.

Getting rid of the bubbles is easy. All you need to do is pop them with a needle and let your car sit out in the sun. The heat will help any moisture trapped inside evaporate and the vinyl will eventually lay flat. You might want to have a tint shop do the install next time.
Those who want to give it another shot, I can do a 2nd set at discount! Email me if interested.

I just seen a G35 riding around with smoke taillights and he said he got his done at a car shop that does vinyl graphics and tint windows. I think that is my best bet if I want to get it done right for the second time.. email sent!
Mine had literally hundreds of bubbles when first installed. After 1 week in the Florida sun...all of them disappeared....and I didn't even pop them with a needle...I didn't touch them...they just went away with time.
